Heart Evangelista

Heart Evangelista on Chiz: “He doesn't baby me whatsoever because he would tell me he would go first…”

If there's one thing we should know about Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista, it's that she is a lot stronger with Sorsogon governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero around.

The premiere YouTube content creator and actress has really found a perfect partner in Chiz when they finally tied the knot in February 2015 in in Balesin Island, Quezon.

In a recent Instagram Q&A, her more than seven million followers got to know more about her husband and even answered the question on when she learned that he's the one.

Heart said, “Pinaglaban niya ako.

“He was kind, supportive, understanding- loved unconditionally. He is my best friend.”

She also opened up about her greatest fears -- something that her husband would constantly remind her that she should find her strength if her worst fears come true.

Heart shared in her post, “My husband would always tell me to be strong.

“He doesn't baby me whatsoever because he would tell me he would go first.. feel like crying every time he says that.

“I know I will one day die alone… it's my biggest fear but I know by that time I will be happy with all the memories I have and I will be stronger to face that one moment.

“I also know for a fact that Panda promised me she will be there waiting for me so I won't be scared.”

She ended the caption by saying, “One more fact heaven is real”

The Escudero family

Before Heart Evangelista came into the picture, Chiz used to be married to Christine Flores. Unfortunately, they parted ways and their marriage was annulled in 2012.

They have two kids, fraternal twins Chesi and Quino.

In her 'Dear Heart' episode on her YouTube channel last February 2020, she admitted that she had difficulty with Chiz's children early in their relationship.

But her immense love for her husband helped her learn to love them as her own kids, too.

“If you really love somebody, honestly, it's a blessing that they have an extension or there's another person that's blood-related to them.

"So if you think about it that way, then go ahead and embrace it and remember we're only here in the world for a short time.

"It's nice to be okay with everybody and it's nice to have a lot of relatives."
