Chris Cahilig is stepping into a new role as Bea Alonzo's interim manager, taking charge of the actress's pending endorsements and professional inquiries following Shirley Kuan's resignation.
Chris Cahilig is taking on a new role in Bea Alonzo's career as he temporarily oversees the actress's professional commitments following the resignation of her longtime manager, Shirley Kuan.
The PR and marketing executive told GMA News Online that his appointment was largely rooted in his existing professional ties with Bea's husband, Vincent Co, whose company Puregold is one of his clients for content production.
“We have been working for a long time so they know how I work and all,” he said. Cahilig added that his immediate task is to attend to Bea's pending matters and business inquiries.
“Since Bea needs someone to take care of the unfinished business and the inquiries for all the endorsements and everything, that's why I came in as an interim manager for her,” he explained.
Chris brings years of experience in media, public relations, marketing, and entertainment to the role.
Through his influencer marketing company Sphere, Chris also works with content creators, although he said Bea is currently the only showbiz personality he manages. His entertainment credentials extend to P-pop, having worked with the group 1:43 and becoming associated with the “Father of P-pop” moniker.
He has also produced branded short-form content, including Puregold's 36-episode 52 Weeks, which won Best Social Media Campaign at the 2023 Hashtag Asia Awards.
