This advocacy is a call to everyone to be responsible and discerning in choosing the information we receive on the various media and social media platforms. This goes for the information we share as well."

"Sa dami ng kung ano-anong content at fake news na nasa paligid natin, kailangan maging critical tayo sa pag-iisip kung totoo ba ito, sensationalized ba or kung maganda ba ang values na tinuturo nito?"

Chris described the ongoing threat of fake news in the digital age.

"With so much unfiltered content and fake news all around us, we need to have critical thinking if the information is true & accurate , sensationalized and most importantly, if it has good values / lessons.

Statistics are showing alarming incidences of anxiety , depression, discontentment and even brain rot in our population over the past years, especially the younger generation."

The Kapuso host and entrepreneur shared their commitment as media practitioners to create content for the public.

"This is also a challenge for us media practitioners and other content creators to produce materials that are fun, enjoyable yet accurate and educational. To my co-spokespersons, Tito Boy and Dong, let's do this!! @dongdantes @boyabunda"

Chris also thanked the partners who support the Be Juan Tama campaign.

"Congrats to the GMA Entertainment team for spearheading this! And thank you to all our partners in championing this worthy cause ! We appreciate the support of WWF Philippines, Office of the Civil Defense, Anak TV, National Council for Children's Television , Philippine Women's University , PEP.ph . #BeJuanTama"
