Two of the best Pinoy male singers, Christian and Mark Bautista, dazzled the New Frontier Theater last Friday, March 6, by showcasing their vocal power at the Baustista X Bautista concert.
In an interview with 24 Oras, the All-Out Sundays stars talked about the benefits of joining singing competitions for aspiring singers.
Both Christian and Mark are products of singing contests—Christian was a finalist in Star in a Million in 2003, where Erik Santos won; while Mark Bautista was the first runner-up in Star for a Night, which Sarah Geronimo won.
“Of course, The Clash, tapos ikaw nag-ju-judge ka rin [referring to Mark Bautista].” Christian said to "Chika Minute."
Mark added, “Ang dami, sa Tawag ng Tanghalan... Ang daming contest ngayon na nasa labas diyan. And puwede silang sumali. Dun nila mate-test... Actually, magandang training din yun, e.”
Christian also added this piece of advice, “I agree. So, go there for training, go for experience. If you win, that's a bonus.”
Asia's Romantic Balladeer also encourages future singers to share their talent online.
Christian said explained, “Social media is so important, so definitely show them who you really are. Your unique self and people will love you. People will really be attached to you.”
