Congratulatory messages are in order as Christian Bautista’s album ‘Soundtrack’ hits gold five months into its release.

Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista was surprised by Universal Records Managing Director Kathleen Dy-Go with a Gold Record Award for his latest album Soundtrack on Sunday All Stars
 
“I really didn’t expect that the album will be given the Gold Record Award,” exclaims Christian. “I am really pleased and surprised, and thankful.”
 
In a post on Facebook, Christian posted, “Thank you GMA, Universal Records, and STAGES, and our sponsors.” Christian also thanked his fans Christian Friends for their support to the album.
 
Soundtrack, Christian’s first album in two years, includes memorable theme songs from the most romantic movies of all time. It includes the hit “Up Where We Belong,” theme from Empress Ki.
 
Christian’s next single is his rendition of “A Thousand Years.” The music video of the said single will be released very soon. It will also star Solenn Heussaff.
