Chuckie Dreyfus and his wife, Yen, recently celebrated their 25th year as husband and wife.
The Hating Kapatid actor dedicated a heartfelt message for his spouse to mark the special milestone. In an Instagram post, the versatile actor shared some photos from his wedding day, as well as snaps of them with their kids.
Chuckie then began his caption by looking back on how times were different when they exchanged their "I Dos."
"Wala pang [Instagram], walang [social media], walang mobile data... Kaya when we had our blind date in the mid-90s, there was no such thing as online stalking; wala tayong choice but to get to know each other the old school way.
"Remember those days? Motorola StarTAC ang flex. Wala pang Waze... sariling diskarte sa directions. CRT TVs landlines... at dial-up internet na nadi-disconnect kapag inaangat ang extension," he wrote.
Chuckie then shared that they began their little family in 1997 when their eldest child, Ralph, was born. Four years later, Chuckie and Yen welcomed their daughter, Isabella, and the couple tied the knot in 2001.
Despite the many changes in life, Chuckie and Yen's love for each other remains strong as they choose each other through it all.
He went on, "Ang dami nang nagbago. 'Yung iba nawala na... 'yung iba, napag-iwanan na ng panahon. Pero tayo... nandito pa rin. We grew up together. Learned, adjusted, laughed, struggled... and kept choosing each other through it all.
"Hindi siya laging madali. Pero lagi siyang worth it. 25 years later... ikaw pa rin. Mas upgraded... mas matibay... mas totoo. My partner, my constant, my home. I love you. Always have... always will. Happy 25th anniversary, @yendreyfus. I'd still choose you. Every single time. From dial-up days... to forever."
The longtime couple are blessed with two children namely Ralph and Isabella.
