Unique Salonga receives praise from Chynna Ortaleza for being a good lyricist.

Singer-songwriter Unique Salonga is back with another self-made album titled “Pangalan.”

The former IV of Spades lead vocalist dropped the new album on the midnight of March 27, which includes tracks “Korporasyon,” “Dambuhala,” “Bukod-tangi,” “Lamang Lupa,” “Delubyo,” “Mga Katulad Mo,” “Pahinga,” at “Huwag Ka Sanang Magalit.”

Due to its uniqueness and sharpness, even celebrities like Kapuso actress Chynna Ortaleza has approved of his skills as a musician.

But the most-raved about on social media is the five-minute “Delubyo” which sits at the center of “Pangalan.”

Many have claimed that it is one of the weirdest things to be put out by a popular musician in recent memory.

This long song is a compilation of different sounds including people laughing, a woman screaming, utensils splattering and even a pastor's sermon. This strange combination created a dark, disturbing and creepy ambiance.

With its grim message, #Delubyo became one of the most talked-about on Twitter as netizens shared their feedback on the somehow eerie song.

His debut album “Grandma” was released in August 2018.

Unique departed Pinoy breakout band IV of Spades in May 2018 but chose not to disclose the reason behind his decision.

The band now consists of Badjao de Castro, Blaster Silonga, and Zild Benitez.Unique is now under the management of Viva Records and O/C Records of Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano.
