“Promise, Papa and Mama… We will be here for Salem and Stellar,” Chynna Ortaleza writes as she posts a photo of her parents before delivering her first child.
There's a popular opinion going around that children reflect the behavior of their parents; that's why it's important to carry out good examples to them that they can carry into adulthood.
A prime example of this would have to be Chynna Ortaleza's parents, Gryk Ortaleza and Leah Fernando Roque.
On Instagram, the Idol Sa Kusina host became sentimental as she posted a photo of her parents with her at wee hours in the morning before she delivered her first child, Stellar.
“I have the best parents a kid could ever hope for,” she said.
“This was a photo Kean [Cipriano] took a few hours before I delivered Stellar. The look on my Papa's face says it all.”
She continued, “Sabi nila iba ang pakiramdam 'pag ang babae mong anak ang magkaka-baby. Uncertain 'di ba? Giving birth is no joke, 50-50 'yan agad.
“Pero hinatid pa nila kami sa doctor. Ganun sila kalupit sumuporta. [Mga] 4 a.m. na ata 'yan pero andun sila.”
In the same post, she promised her parents to bring up her children the same way her parents did for her.
“Promise, Papa and Mama… we will be here for Salem and Stellar, and lay this foundation like a rock anchored to God's plans and goodness.
“We have the best examples.”
