Ciara Sotto was touched by how her son Crixus saved his allowance to buy her gifts for her birthday.
Singer, actress and dancer Ciara Sotto celebrated her 45th birthday on July 2.
To mark this milestone, Ciara had a special photoshoot where she showcased her ageless beauty.
She posed among bright yellow sunflowers in an elegant white dress while carrying a cake also decorated with sunflowers.
"Grateful and blessed for 45 years of life, growth, and quiet sunshine. Still learning… still blooming," she wrote on Instagram as she shared her beautiful new portraits.
Ciara also has a star-studded birthday dinner with her family and friends.
Spotted in the party were members of the massive Sotto clan including Ciara's parents Tito Sotto and Helen Gamboa; uncle Vic Sotto with Pauleen Luna and their daughters Tali and Mochi; uncles Val and Maru; siblings Gian, Lala, and Romina; cousins Oyo Boy and Danica with their spouses Kristine Hermosa and Marc Pingris respectively.
Singer Pops Fernandez, Maine Mendoza, and Arjo Atayde also attended Ciara's party.
Prior to that, Ciara had an even more intimate gathering at home which she spent in pampering herself and a few of her closest friends.
This is also where she received a very touching gift from her son Crixus who personally saved up his allowance to surprise Ciara.
Ciara felt very touched by the gesture and is seen being emotional as she received balloons and a box full of assorted gifts from Crixus.
"My dearest Crix, Thank you for the beautiful surprise on my birthday. Thank you for using your savings to buy me gifts… I couldn't hold back my tears. Thank you for the thoughtfulness and selflessness. Your love is the greatest gift of all. I love you so much, my sweet son… only God can love you more," she wrote on Instagram as she shared a video of the special moment.
Towards the end of the video, there was a several photos of her son personally buying the gifts.
"P.S. his pictures paying for his gifts were sent by my sister @purpleluxe Thank You Mummey!!! My heart is so full," Ciara continued in the caption.
