Find out more about the 'Nagbabagang Luha' actress's battle with social anxiety.

We often see Kapuso actress Claire Castro in their afternoon series Nagbabagang Luha as Cielo, a seductive villain who's having an affair with her sister's husband.

And when she's not doing intense scenes in the said afternoon GMA drama, we can see Claire heating up the Gram with her sultry selfies.

Who would think that despite coming off as a confident woman that Claire actually suffers from social anxiety?

This is the big revelation that the Kapuso actress made during her recent guest appearance on Mars Pa More.

In the “On the Spot” segment, celebrity guests Claire and Karenina Haniel, as well as hosts Iya Villania and Camille Prats, were asked to answer questions.

During her turn, Claire was asked to answer the question, “Kung may isang bagay kang maipagmamalaki sa magulang mo, ano ito?”

“Uhmmm…for me po, personal po ito, kasi I struggled with social anxiety,” Claire revealed. “It's hard for me to talk to people and make friends. But still po I'm in this industry and I'm conquering that fear po.”

Claire is the daughter of former T.G.I.S. stars Raven Villanueva and Diego Castro. So, you can just imagine how much pressure Claire must have experienced in entering showbiz and being in the public.

But it's good to know that she's slowly conquering it, and Camille even noted how it doesn't show at all.

“Alam mo, kung hindi mo binanggit 'yon, parang I wouldn't have sensed it,” said Camille.

Kudos to you, Claire! And we can't wait to see more of you here in the Kapuso network.
