Clint Bondad owes being independent and responsible to his mother, Jane Bondad.
In his Mother's Day message, the Love You Two actor recounted how his mom trained him in a strict upbringing that made a huge impact in his life.
"Was hell growing up under your dictatorship but you were right, I appreciate it all now.
"You send me to English, German, judo, swimming, tennis, piano and a few more classes.
"You studied with me when there was a big test.
"My schedule was packed and the TV always locked.
"I remember you're giving me a toothbrush to clean the bathroom weekly and other very frustrating assignments but look at your son now.
"I have a very clean and organized home and enjoy studying like I know nothing.
"Always striving to replicate my upbringing.
"Not perfect but too stubborn to shy away from challenge because of you.
"Funny how you became so soft as a grandmother," Clint said on Instagram.
Meanwhile, in the last part of his post, Clint thanked his mom for her unconditional love.
"I thank you for all your lessons, love and support that you gave me.
"Very proud being your son," he said.
