Clint Bondad says his recent breakup turned out to be beneficial for his showbiz career, especially now that he has been receiving acting jobs and guestings on TV.
They say, in order to achieve your goals, you have to give up something, and the same goes for model/actor Clint Bondad who recently parted ways with his longtime girlfriend Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Clint says it turned out to be beneficial for his showbiz career, especially now that he has been receiving acting jobs and guestings on TV.
"I really want to focus on showbiz this year kasi I took actually a break for almost isang taon kasi nag-focus ako sa [catering] business ko."
The Fil-German hunk can't deny the fact that juggling business and showbiz isn't an easy task so he decided to focus at one profession at a time.
"I also have another business, it's a boring business to be honest, very corporate stuff pero it takes very much time sa daily schedule ko.
"Iniisip ko talaga, I'll just focus on this one [showbiz] muna kasi you can always pull back on other business later on, kasi it takes a lot of energy talaga.
He, then, stressed, "At the very end, let's face it. Being single does give you a little bit of extra time."
NEWFOUND FRIENDS
Now that he's been single for a time now, Clint has managed to make his circle bigger.
He has found another family on the set of Kapuso rom-com series Love You Two where he plays Theo, the ex-boyfriend of Raffy, plays by the Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado.
Clint recounts how his co-stars made him extra special on his birthday. He turned 25 last March 26.
"That is very sweet of them kasi hindi ako sanay sa birthday surprises, but for the first time in, maybe, 11 years or more, masaya 'yung birthday ko kasi kasama ko 'yung mga kaibigan ko and mga katrabaho ko."
GMANetwork.com had a one-on-one interview with Clint last April 11 during the media conference of Love You Two at the Studio 7 of GMA Annex building.
The Kapuso telepelikula will have its world premiere on April 22.
