Coach Jay is now a recording artist!
Coach Jay has officially stepped into the music scene.
During SB19's Wakas at Simula finale concert on April 18, the P-pop choreographer and Stars on the Floor 2026 dance authority surprised fans by introducing himself as one of the newest recording artists under 1Z Entertainment.
He officially introduced his new stage name, J2X, along with the announcement of his debut single, “AKONGAPALASI,” which was released on the same day.
In an Instagram post, he shared his debut stage look full of swag.
“From backstage to center stage,” he wrote in the caption.
He also shared a transition video in another post showing his transformation from Coach Jay to J2X.
“Coach Jay, nakilala. J2X, magpapakilala,” he said.
Coach Jay has choreographed some of SB19's biggest hits, including “Moonlight,” “Gento,” “DAM,” and “Dungka.”
