Ready, set, SPARKLE! Catch the biggest names in GMA-7 and Sparkle at the first-ever Sparkle Run 2026 on May 30.
Get ready as the biggest stars and top fitness influencers converge and run along Manila's most iconic roads with the first-ever Sparkle Run on Saturday, May 30.
The event is organized by GMA Network—spearheaded by Sparkle GMA Artist Center—in partnership with RUNRIO as its race organizer; the Department of Tourism; and the Culture and Arts of Manila as venue partner.
In an exclusive interview, RUNRIO founder and president Rio de la Cruz said that this is going to be a star-studded event because TV and movie stars are expected to join.
“That's on May 30 sa Quirino Grandstand, so we are very excited lalo na sa mga runners natin kasi meron silang chance to run with their idols, 'di ba? And 'yung nakikita nila sa TV, makaka-run na nila together," he told GMANetwork.com.
“So, we are hoping na mas marami pa tayong ma-encourage na mga runners to participate dito also sa Sparkle Run. Para at least magkaroon pa tayo ng races for next year.”
Athletes and running enthusiasts can join in five different categories for the Sparkle Run 2026: 16KM, 10KM, 6.6KM, 5KM, and 3KM.
