Music festival Coachella has been postponed until October due to the coronavirus outbreak
Coachella is postponed.
According to the organizers of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the gathering in the picturesque desert of Southern California has been delayed and will be moved to October over concerns about the coronavirus.
The festival was initially planned in two-weekend installments, April 10 to 12 and April 17 to 19. The new dates will take six months later, October 9 to 11 and October 16 to 18.
In the statement, the festival organizers have made no comment regarding the line-up but the original event was to feature acts like Travis Scott, Frank Ocean and K-Pop boy group BIGBANG.

The news isn't a surprise though as both local and international acts have already been taking precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of the virus.
No live audience in GMA
Kapuso shows with live audiences have also been temporarily suspended due to the spread of the coronavirus disease.
One of which is longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga who has declared that it will suspend the admission of a live studio audience to ensure the health and safety of its talents, staff, crew, and members.
As declared in their official Instagram account, "Please understand that this decision was made after extensive and careful consideration in order to cooperate with government efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19.
"Araw-araw pa rin po kaming maghahatid ng isang libo't isang tuwa sa inyong mga tahanan. Ingat po tayong lahat, Dabarkads!"
Furthermore, GMA Network has also temporarily suspended the admission of live audiences in programs including All-Out Sundays, Centerstage, Mars Pa More, Wowowin, Wowowin Primetime, Idol sa Kusina, The Boobay and Tekla Show, Sarap 'Di Ba?, and Tonight With Arnold Clavio.
Additionally, the network will be putting on hold "all of the Network's external activities and events in Metro Manila."
