One of the most successful Korean medical dramas is airing on GTV this June!
GTV is bringing yet again another Koreanovela with an award-winning and highly acclaimed cast that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat this month of June.
Code Name: Yong Pal centers around Dr. Tyron Kim (Joo Won) a talented surgeon suffering from debt because of his sister's expensive medical bills. Desperate to make more money, he adopts the code name “Yong Pal” and offers his exemplary medical skills to VVIPs like gangsters, corrupt plutocrats, and such who can pay him a higher fee.
In the hospital where he works, a VIP comatose patient named Christine (Kim Tae Hee) wakes up and tries to harm herself. Because of this, she is once again sedated and kept asleep. This sparked interest in Yong Pal which led him to ask the director of the hospital to be assigned to take care of Christine.
What discoveries will Yong Pal find out about Christine? Will he be able to heal her and help her wake up?
