Why is Cogie Domingo making a come back?

Former matinee idol Cogie Domingo has ended his six years of showbiz hiatus when he appeared as a guest in GMA Afternoon Prime soap "Buena Familia" recently.

According to Cogie, he chose GMA Network for his comeback because it is where he grew as an artist. "[It] feels like I'm back home. [I'm] very comfortable with the people I'm working with," he said.

He added, "Kasi sa GMA naman po talaga ako lumaki. I mean, I learned everything with GMA, so why not? 'Yun talaga 'yung family ko."

Aside from returning to the Kapuso network, he also shared three things that made him decide to be back on the small screen.

First reason is his three-year-old daughter named Rhianna Clarisse. "She's going to school this June. Kailangan ko ring magtrabaho for Rhianna," explained Cogie.

Second is for his fans who keep on encouraging him to be back in the limelight. "Nakakatuwa po talaga na kahit sobrang tagal na po ay nakilala pa po ako," Cogie shared.

Lastly, Cogie shared he was inspired by great movies he watched recently. "'Yung mga napapanod ko sa film fest. Nami-miss ko rin 'yung [acting]," he ended.
