A few hours before Jin, the vocalist of global group BTS, officially drops his first solo single, “The Astronaut,” Coldplay shared a snippet of the song on their social media accounts.
“The Astronaut” is co-written by Jin and Coldplay.
The melodic preview sounded every bit heavenly and fans couldn't help but be more excited for the new song.
The end of the video showed an excited Chris Martin mouthing along a part of the song.
Last week, it was announced that Jin will be performing “The Astronaut” at Coldplay's broadcasted live concert in Argentina.
Jin has also dropped the official teaser for the song, which featured him in the middle of a vast, empty land with a spaceship that seemed to have crashed at the center.
“The Astronaut” will be released on October 28 at 1 P.M. KST (12 P.M. in Manila).
Coldplay and BTS previously collaborated for the award-winning song, “My Universe.”
