The K-drama world will be missing one of its popular actors starting next month. We will all be waiting for you, Joo-hyuk!
Several Korean entertainment outlets have confirmed that K-drama actor Nam Joo-hyuk will begin his mandatory military enlistment next month.
Soompi quoted a source from Joo-hyuk's agency Management SOOP, which shared some details about it.
“It is true that Nam Joo Hyuk was accepted into the military police force. He will be enlisting in the police squad on March 20.”

It was already reported in October 2022 that the Star-Up actor is already preparing to enlist.
Aside from Start-Up, Nam Joo-hyuk was also part of several successful K-drama projects such as Weightlifting Fairy, Scarlet Heart, and The Bride of the Water God.
Back in 2018, the Korean actor visited the Philippines for a fan convention prepared by a local clothing brand.
