During his guest appearance on Your Honor, content creator Poca was asked about the controversial statement of former StarStruck finalist Alvin Aragon on homosexuality.
This was in relation to Sophia Trazona, the transgender daughter of his wife and former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona.
“Ang daming bash ni Izzy; doon pa lang sa anak niya naging... pinili ang direksyong maging bading. Ang dami nang bash, e. Hindi raw tinanggap kasi bading," he said.
"Totoo naman. Ano ba sabi sa Bible? God judged the homosexuality. Read the Genesis 17, 18, and 19. Those men in Sodom and Gomorrah want to have sex with other men. And God judged that Sodom and Gomorrah even until now." Alvin added.
Poca then talked about his experience of being accepted by his parents, who are both pastors.
He stressed to Your Honor hosts Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar that he never felt discriminated against by them.
“Ito ha! I'm not going to talk about him, I'm just gonna talk about my story.”
“So, both of my parents are pastors, but I have never, ever heard of them discriminating against me because of my gender. All they say is, 'We will pray for you anak,' ganun-ganun.”
He continued, “Wala ako naririnig na kahit ano. 'Nandito lang kami kung [kailangan mo]. Actually, kagabi nga, ewan ko sobrang close namin ng family ko, parang sinabi ko, 'Ma, pag-pray mo naman ako, medyo naii-stress [nitong] mga nakaraang araw.”
“Tapos, nag-send siya ng voice message pinagpi-pray niya ako, 'yung mga ganun bang bagay. We are so, open to each other.”
“You can have your faith, and I can be me without being discriminated. We can co-exist naman, tsaka, hindi naman ako masamang tao, just because I'm gay, it doesn't mean that I'm a bad person. Yung iba nga straight, ang sama-sama naman.”
