TikTok user Shan Rizwan on actress Anne Curtis: “She was super humble for all the things that she did.”
Content creator Shan Rizwan took to social media to share how he met actress and television host Anne Curtis in New York City.
It can be recalled that his street interview with Anne instantly went viral on TikTok as he seemingly didn't know the latter's identity during their brief talk. In the said video, Shan got to know more about the actress-entrepreneur as he asked about her background, profession, education, and more.

In a recent TikTok video, Shan revealed that he didn't know who Anne was at that time, even though he's half Filipino.

He said, "This is one of the craziest things to ever happen to me. So I coincidentally and obliviously ran into the most followed woman in the Philippines, Anne Curtis. I'm half Filipino, my mom is from Iloilo, but I had no idea who Anne Curtis was.
“The context on how this interaction happened was that, I was pretty much just going up to strangers trying to guess their jobs for TikTok and I literally just went up to Anne Curtis, not knowing who she was and she was down to do an interview and what you saw is exactly what happened.”
Shan then expressed his gratitude to everyone who watched his video and showed their utmost support. He also thanked Anne for giving him the time to do the interview and commended her for being humble.
“I wanted to thank Anne Curtis for taking the time to talk with me. She was super humble for all the things that she did. [She] just gave a super down-to-earth vibe and she easily could've just blown me off as I get blown off a lot as a street interviewer in New York City. But she gave me a few minutes of her day and [she] was super authentic and genuine. It was fun making that video,” he continued.
He added, “Anne, if you're watching this, if you ever wanna make a part two video, or maybe I go to the Philippines, just let me know.”
Before ending his video, he described this experience as “probably one of the most serendipitous interactions I've had living in New York City.”
At this writing, Shan's interview with Anne Curtis has garnered more than 33 million views and over 4.3 million likes on TikTok.
