"Thank you, Emy for the four decades of selfless love you gave to Mama, Kuya LA, Ate Carla, and myself; Emy, I love you, more than I ever let you know. We will miss you dearly." - Vico Sotto

Today, September 18, Vico Sotto, son of Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes pays tribute to a Emelinda "Neneng/Emy" Flores.

The councilor posted this on his social media accounts in memory a househelper who have become a part of their family.

EMELINDA "NENENG"/"EMY" B. FLORES ("1959" – 2016) She started out as our househelper, but she became a part of our family. Yaya, cook, messenger, bodyguard, personal assistant, Resident comedian, all-around repairman; Kargador with rock hard muscles (seriously), with underneath a tender heart Never showed much emotion, but a pillar we all leaned on; Quietly celebrated with us in all our triumps, but was equally there in our moments of despair. My alarm clock until I was twenty-six; The one who made sure the back of my shirt was tucked in for every important occassion. A superhuman who pushed through fatigue, illness, and pain; Always going above and beyond the call of duty. THANK YOU EMY, for the four decades of selfless love you gave to Mama, Kuya LA, Ate Carla, and myself; EMY, I LOVE YOU, more than I ever let you know. We will miss you dearly.
