The Fiercest of Them All winner Peru Morena confessed that she’s a transgender woman through a Facebook Live session last Monday.
Aside from Peru’s fans and friends, the show’s host Daiana Menezes was one of the participants of the online chat.
She assured the Canada-raised fitness model of her continuous love and support.
“You’re still the same to me… Nothing changes… We love you,” she wrote through the comments section.
Daiana also noted how Peru’s bold confession is resonant of the fierceness that the show stands for. She’s also glad that the latter can serve as a role model for many.
“This is what [The] Fiercest [of Them All] is all about… You’ll be an example for many… I’m so happy for you,” she added.
