Dani Barretto, the daughter of actress Marjorie Barretto and actor Kier Legaspi, dropped a couple of lbs as she flaunted her trimmer figure on Instagram.
On Sunday, March 21, the social media influencer posted a mirror selfie while wearing her sports bra and leggings.
“My weightloss journey has been inconsistent for the past year,” she said.
“I admit, I always lose focus and end up failing multiple times, but Xavi and I promised each other that 2021 is the year we are going to focus on our fitness journey, and start living a healthy lifestyle.”
According to Dani she has already lost more than eight pounds since starting her journey last March 7.
“My weight last March 7, 2021, was 154.9 lbs, and my weight as of today is 146.5 lbs!
“No intense diet, just calorie deficit. I don't deprive myself from eating my favorites, I just now eat them in moderation.”
She added, “I still have a long way to go but it's so nice to see results! I will share more on my vlog when I reach my goal weight, almost there!”
Dani has been candid about her health and fitness journey on social media, months after giving birth to her daughter Millie.
In January, she shared that she's been eating healthy and trying to work out at least three times a week, roughly four months postpartum.
She revealed, “It hasn't been easy, but it's totally worth it. I have a long way to go, but the feeling and the progress I'm seeing makes me want to keep going.”
By March, she confessed that getting back in shape was no easy feat for her, especially she had a cesarean section when she gave birth to her daughter.
“It's not that easy to get back into shape after a C-section,” she said.
“But all you need is a little push, and faith in yourself that you can do it. I still have a long way to go, but we can do this as mommas! Push!”
Dani and husband Xavi Panlilio welcomed their daughter in September 2019, roughly five months after tying the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony held in Makati.
