One of the most exciting parts of having a baby is to finally find out the gender and Danica Sotto and Marc Pingris made sure that they would find out in a fun way through a basketball-themed gender reveal party yesterday.

In an Instagram post, Danica showed a series of pictures leading to the reveal of their baby's gender. Not only that, but Chesca Garcia-Kramer posted a series of videos in her own Instagram stories leading up to revealing the gender of Danica and Marc's baby.

The series of videos showed Marc opening an umbrella to reveal the gender of the baby, only for plain white confetti to come out and for the host, Pauleen Luna-Sotto, wife of her dad, Eat Bulaga pioneer Vic Sotto, to say that it was just a prank.

She then led the two to a covered basketball ring, asking Marc to dunk the ball to reveal the gender of the baby.

Danica then showed a picture of Marc dunking the ball into the ring with blue confetti falling with the ball, revealing their baby to be a boy.

Both parents and their children showed surprise and happiness with the reveal, with Danica gasping in surprise, Marc pumping his fists, and their kids jumping for joy.

Her post accompanied a caption thanking both Pauleen and Joy Sotto (wife of her cousin Vice Mayor Gian Sotto).

“Still on a high from yesterday! Thank you @joywsotto and @pauleenlunasotto for organizing the perfect gender reveal party,” she said.

In her own Instagram Story, Danica also gave thanks to the two for organizing “a fun and memorable gender reveal.”

“Words cannot express how grateful I am for the two of you,” she said.

Last July, Danica, and Marc announced that they were having their third child in Marc's Instagram post. Their new baby boy will be joining their daughter Anielle Micaela and son, Jean Michel.
