Today marks the ninth year mark of the marriage of actress-host Danica Sotto and basketball player Marc Pingris.

The two, through their Instagram accounts, exchanged sweet messages, both thanking God for the gift of each other.
 

 

Happy 9 years Bebe! Parang kelan lang.. Can't believe 9 years went by so fast. I thank God for you everyday. I'm so blessed because I married you! You've taught me so many things in life. Our marriage is not perfect and I know there are still things we need to learn and unlearn. I thank God for the happy moments and even for the trials that we had to endure because he never left our side. I know we still have a loooong way to go. Marami pa tayo pag dadaanan. I believe we are a good team and all things are possible if we believe in HIM. Thank you for working hard for our family, making me feel loved and for always making me laugh!!! Happy 9th Anniversary, Be! I know I don't deseve it but God still blessed me with someone that is so wonderful, and caring, and loving! Thank you sa unconditional love mo kahit minsan meron tayong hindi mga napapagkasunduan. Pero naniniwala ako na kapag si God ang nasa center naten, magiging ok ang lahat. According to the couple’s interview with Rhea Santos in Tunay na Buhay, they first met in a gym. They eventually became friends until Marc asked if he could visit Danica in her TV tapings.

Danica also revealed that among her suitors, it was only Marc who had the courage to introduce himself to her parents Vic Sotto and Dina Bonnevie.

Marc and Danica have two children – Anielle Micaela and Jean Michael.
