
After 17 long years, Dasuri Choi returned to her roots as she performed a heartfelt contemporary dance with Thea Astley on Stars on the Floor.
The South Korean dancer took to Instagram to share a video of her rehearsal and final performance with Thea, reflecting on the emotional journey behind the piece and expressing heartfelt gratitude to her dance partner.
"Win for Episode 3 of @starsonthefloorgma! Huge thanks to coach @mackyquiobe. This wouldn't be possible without you. You are truly a genius and a visionary," she began.
She also thanked Thea for being an "amazing dance partner."
"Thank you for pouring your heart and soul into this piece. You gave it your all and I'm so proud of what we created together," she said.
Dasuri continued, revealing that this was her first contemporary dance in 17 years, "This performance was extra special for me."
"I was nervous, emotional, and honestly unsure if I could still do it… but here we are. We made it. We told a story. And we won," she shared.
At the end of her post, she extended her gratitude to everyone who supported her throughout her journey on Stars on the Floor.
"You keep me going. Let's keep dancing. Let's keep healing," she said.
Dasuri and Thea danced their way to victory as the 3rd top dance star duo in the third week of Stars on the Floor.
