Sparkle leading man David Licauco fondly recalled his journey competing in Mr. Chinatown back in 2014.
During his exclusive interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the King of Talk directly asked the chinito heartthrob, “Hindi sumama ang loob na hindi ka nanalo, after having gotten, I think, most of the special prizes?"
David answered, “Well to be completely honest, I thought I won.”
He added, “Kasi, siyempre 'yung dalawang awards nakuha mo. Tapos, maganda 'yung sagot. So, I really thought I won.

Back in 2014, David Licauco placed first runner-up, while Kurt Joshua Ong took home the title.
Looking back, the Kapuso primetime actor told Tito Boy why he came up short.
May 50 percent dun sa activities , e, sa activities ko nakaganyan ako [motion with his body]. So, parang siyempre mababa 'yung naging grade ko dun, e si Kurt very active.
David Licauco is part of the action-drama series Never Say Die with Jillian Ward airing Monday to Friday, 8:55 p.m. on GMA Prime.
