David Licauco recently offered a peek into his role as an ambassador for the Boy Scouts of the Philippines through a social media post.

On Facebook, the Pambansang Ginoo uploaded photos from a flag disposal ceremony held last May. Clad in his scout uniform, David was seen saluting and attentively observing the proceedings.

“Your Boy Scout ambassador,” David wrote in the caption.

Supporters quickly flooded the comments, expressing their pride in him.

Back in May, David participated in the “Huling Parangal sa Watawat: Flag Disposal Ceremony” at Imus Heritage Park in Cavite. The event honors worn-out Philippine flags by retiring them respectfully, in line with official disposal protocols. David also delivered a message to the Boy Scouts present at the ceremony.

David made history in 2024 as the very first Scout Ambassador of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

Speaking to GMA News Online, the actor said he hopes his role as Hiroshi in the historical series Pulang Araw will inspire scouts to embrace patriotism and the importance of family.

Beyond his work with the Boy Scouts, David also ventured into music with the release of his single “I Think I Love You,” and recently joined Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition as a house guest.
