Congratulations, Kapuso David!
Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco just proved how popular he is among netizens as he was voted as the Most Popular Male Artist of the Year on the STAR Choice Awards Facebook page.
STAR Choice Awards is Facebook page that currently has almost 40K followers. The page puts out polls featuring celebrities where its followers and fans of celebrities can vote for their idols.
David was voted for Male Artist of the Year and other Kapuso celebs were also included in the poll, which are Alden Richards, Will Ashley, and Allen Ansay. David got the most votes with a total of 3,246,240 votes. The Sparkle artist was declared as the winner of the public-voting survey.
David popularity shot to super stardom levels in 2022 when he starred in the hit GMA Telebabad series Maria Clara at Ibarra. He was paired with the lead star, Barbie Forteza.
Their pairing is so popular that projects started piling up for the two like endorsements. The two are also set to star together in a new movie.
