DAY6 Jae and SB19

“They're good, they're really good!” says DAY6's Jae after watching SB19's 'Alab' music video.

P-pop boy group SB19 was recently lauded by DAY6 member Jae in his recently concluded Twitch live stream where he reacted to other international acts, including 5 Seconds of Summer and Agnez Mo.

The K-pop idol took an interest in the band after fans flooded his comments section with messages urging him to check out the Filipino boy group.

“SB19 is a Filipino trained by a Korean company in the Philippines. That's interesting. I am interested,” he said while reading their Wikipedia bio.

Jae then searched their latest single and stumbled upon SB19's hit single “Alab” and found them “really good.”

“It does feel like K-pop, but I kinda like it,” he reacted.

“That's interesting. Wow. It's really interesting. K-pop has become such an interesting concept. Do you know what I mean? They're good. They are really good. They sound great.”

SB19 is the latest Filipino act that Jae has recently encountered in the world wide web, after his encounter with OPM singer Ogie Alcasid via Twitter.

Jae is a South Korean musician singer, best known as the vocalist and electric guitarist of the South Korean band DAY6.

Early this year, DAY6 temporarily suspended their team activities and promotions to focus on their mental health and anxiety.

Meanwhile, SB19 held their first virtual concert on November 21.

Their latest single, “Hanggang sa Huli,” recently reached 2 million views on YouTube.
