Shocking news greeted Trixie on her return to the country. She learned that Billy and Cindy are an item, and what made things worse for her was the fact that Billy broke up with her to formalize his relationship with Cindy.
Cindy, however, did not want to hurt Trixie, so she decided to stay away from Billy. And though it was hard for her to hurt his feelings, she lied about her love for him just to make him stay out of her life and eventually forget about her. Her plan worked and backfired at the same time: Billy stayed away and got drunk, but she also had to endure the pain it brought.
