Actress Denise Laurel has sounded the alarm over fake Telegram and YouTube accounts using her name.
In her Instagram post, Denise shared a screenshot and advised people not to interact with the accounts.
“This person hiding behind the keyboard pretending to be on telegram and YouTube sending people horrible messages under my name. Impostor.”
She also told her fans and followers not to respond to any Facebook messages with her name since she doesn't use her account to talk to people through that social media page.
“As a Lola I don't know how to report em on telegram and I just blocked them on both telegram and YouTube but couldn't report em.
“I also don't use my Facebook to respond to anyone so if u get messages from someone saying they are me on FB that's not me.”
This year, Denise isn't the only celebrity who took to social media to warn the public about fake pages or accounts.
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, beauty queen Celeste Cortesi, and chef-YouTuber Ninong Ry have previously informed the public about their online posers.
