
Award-winning actor Dennis Trillo recently shared his aspiration to one day be part of a Hollywood project.
In a Facebook post, the Kapuso star manifested international opportunities while sharing a photo of veteran actor Art Acuña. Dennis had the chance to work with the esteemed actor in the GMA series Sanggang-Dikit FR, which he headlines alongside his wife, Jennylyn Mercado.
Art appeared in the 2012 Hollywood film The Bourne Legacy in a cameo role, credited as the Manila driver in a chase scene filmed in the Philippines. He also starred in the Filipino-American crime drama series Almost Paradise. That same year, Art earned a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor at the 40th International Emmy Awards for his portrayal in the TV series The Kitchen Musical.
In the caption, Dennis wrote, “Balang araw magkakaroon din ako ng Hollywood project katulad ni Sir Idol Art Acuña.”
Known for his versatility and powerful performances in Philippine cinema and television, Dennis has long been regarded as one of the country's finest actors.
He has received numerous accolades both locally and internationally, including Best Actor awards at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 and the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2025 for his acclaimed performance in the movie Green Bones.
With Dennis referencing Art's Hollywood appearance, fans have shown their support for his dream, believing that his talent can one day shine on the international stage.
