iGMA caught up with Dennis para malaman kung saan nanggaling ang Bro Band, and what else should viewers watch out for sa “SOP.”
You've probably noticed the changes sa 'SOP' -- the more light-weight banter in between performances and new segments, including “Bro Band,'” the group that features Aljur Abrenica, Chris Cayzer and Dennis Trillo. iGMA caught up with Dennis para naman malaman kung saan nanggaling ang Bro Band, and what else should viewers watch out for sa “SOP.” Text by Jason John S. Sa malapit na pagtatapos ng Gagambino, inamin ni Dennis Trillo na mas marami na siyang time ngayon to concentrate on his music. And he reveals na baka this year na rin daw mai-release ang kanyang second studio album. Kung matatandaan, his first album was produced by Indi Music and Universal Records, and according to Dennis, baka 'yung dalawa pa rin daw na music outfits ang mag-produce ng pangalawa niyang album. Ang wala daw talaga sa plano this year ay ang magkaroon ng major concert. "Focus[ed] kami ngayon sa SOP," was his reply ng tanungin namin si Dennis tungkol dito. Tama nga naman, SOP is the Concert TV to beat. Dennis, along with Aljur Abrenica and Chris Cayzer, are the front men para sa latest segment ng SOP, ang “Bro Band.” "Kasi kailangan mas pagandahin pa daw namin 'yung SOP. Dapat daw i-maintain namin 'yung [quality ng show], dapat may laging bagong ipapakita, [at] mas seryosohin namin. Lahat ng tao talaga [na involved sa show], pinaramdam sa amin na mahal nila 'yung show. So dapat kami din, talagang mag-dedicate ng time sa mga rehearsals," Dennis adds. At based on how he has been performing lately, it seems hindi na kailangan ng major concert ni Dennis for 2009 dahil parang every Sunday ay nagko-concert siya talaga. "Like nung [January 11 episode], parang birthday ko! Actually, halos lahat kami, ang dami naming prods! Sinama kami doon sa 'For the Record,' sa iba-iba[ng] numbers. Tapos may love teams pa, may 'Bro Band' pa, tapos opening, closing -- sobrang busy ng show." stars
From how Dennis tells it, jam-packed talaga ang show. And he says that fans should expect the same sa mga susunod pang episodes ng SOP. So [baka] magsawa 'yung mga tao, so ngayong, sina-shuffle nila, ine-experiment nila. 'Yung mga spiels din, inaayos na nila. Kasi ayaw nilang masyadong scripted, mas gusto nila 'yung mas barkada ang feel," he notes. However, he does have one suggestion na talagang magugustuhan ng fans. Give us your thoughts through the comments box below!
