After years of speculation, actor and host Derek Ramsay confirmed that he got married in 2002 and has a child.

He revealed this in a counter affidavit that he filed against his estranged wife Mary Christine Jolly.

Jolly claimed that Derek hasn’t provided support for their 11-year-old son when he was born.

Derek responded saying that to his knowledge, the marriage wasn’t valid.

Yesterday, a closed door meeting with the prosecutor was held. Saksi  reported that Derek was speechless and teary-eyed when he exited.

“Magsasalita rin ako soon but let’s just let the courts handle this (first),” he told the press.
