Derek stressed that the split was not caused by a third party.
Actor-model Derek Ramsay broke his silence on the status of his relationship with Andrea Torres amid breakup rumors.
On Tuesday, the Kapuso couple unfollowed and deleted each other's photos on Instagram, which started the rumor that the two have split.
Today, November 19, Derek confirmed the breakup in a comment on Instagram.
Replying to a comment posted by a follower, Derek wrote:
“Please don't point the finger at anyone. There is nothing wrong with Andrea. She is a great woman. There is no third party!!!! The breakup has happened so fast. Maybe 2 people are just not meant to be. Pls respect us nalang. We shared our love to all of you sana naman we can keep this to ourselves. Mahal ko si ada kaya di ako magsasalita pero if I hear lies about her I will defend her.”
Derek's reply finally confirmed that he and Andrea have parted ways after a year of being a couple.
The two revealed that they are in a relationship in September 2019, after starring together in the Kapuso primetime series, The Better Woman.
