Derrick Monasterio is setting the temperature high on the cover of Rank magazine's 'Hot Damn!' issue.
Derrick Monasterio is making the weather even hotter with his stunning photos on the cover of a local lifestyle magazine.
The “Hot Damn! ”issue of Rank Magazine this April highlights Derrick's inspiring journey in the entertainment industry from being a teen star to becoming one of the most bankable actors in his generation.
As stated in the said feature, “The former teen star has, time and again, proven that he is anything but cookie-cutter. He has dropped his own music, joined the pantheon of actors who took the stage carrying the iconic role of a modern jukebox musical canon, beefed up his acting portfolio, and braved the business world.”
Derrick is currently starring in the GMA Afternoon Prime serial Makiling. This is his second project with his girlfriend, Elle Villanueva.
This summer, the Kapuso actor will also star in a new film titled G! LU alongside his fellow heartthrobs Ruru Madrid, David Licauco, Enzo Pineda, Teejay Marquez, and Kiko Estrada.
The film was shot in La Union in 2019, and while its release was delayed due to the pandemic, its director, Philip King, believes it remains relevant today.
