Alamin kung bakit tinanggihan ni Derrick na magkaroon ng stunt double sa torture scene niya sa 'Mulawin VS Ravena.'

Kapuso televiewers were hooked in the gripping torture scene of Derrick Monasterio who's playing Rodrigo/Almiro in the hit telefantasya series Mulawin VS. Ravena.

Many were impressed with the acting of the Kapuso heartthrob and Joko Diaz who portrayed the villain Antonio.

In a one-on-one interview with Lhar Santiago in Chika Minute, Derrick revealed that the staff of Mulawin VS Ravena offered him a stunt double, but he turned it down and insisted to do the torture scene himself.

Derrick said, “Mahirap pero very professional naman ‘yung team, ‘yung staff, ‘yung crew. Sila ‘yung nakakita na pulang-pula na ako itayo n'yo na si Derrick.”

He added, “Mas okay Tito (Lhar Santiago) 'pag ako kasi, for example 'pag pumalpak ‘yung double akin pa rin magre-reflect ‘yun. So mas maganda para alam mo ‘yung gusto mong kalabasan, do it yourself.”

The Kapuso hunk is also extremely excited for the televiewers to see his awesome transformation as a Mulawin in the coming episodes.

“Ganun talaga sa umpisa mahihirapan ka, pero of course it’s not always about pain and hardship. Of course, darating din ‘yung gaan, ‘yung glory, and ‘yung victory at the end. Very glorious ‘yung moment na mag-transform ako into a Mulawin, so ang ganda nung scene Tito (Lhar).”
