Nasa Pilipinas ang Descendants of the Sun actor na si David Lee Mcinnis, ang gumanap sa kontrabidang si Captain Argus sa hit Korean drama. Isa sa mga unang binisita ni David ay ang GMA Network, kung saan pinalabas ang show nila.
Aniya, "If it wasn't for places like the Philippines, and networks like GMA getting dramas out there, we won't be as popular in the world. So, we appreciate that."
Natutuwa rin daw si David sa mga Filipino fans at sa pagtangap sa kanya ng mga Pinoy in general. Ika niya, "[They're all] super nice and warm, I can't believe it."
Habang nasa GMA, pinatikim din kay David ang mga Filipino delicacies tulad ng adobo at sisig. Ang verdict ng aktor? "I'm loving everything."
Tinanong din ni Aubrey Carampel kung ready ba si David na magkaroon ng drama sa Pilipinas. Sagot naman ng aktor, "Yeah, why not? Absolutely."
