Twitterverse expressed sympathy over Diego (Rocco Nacino) and Moira's (Jasmine Curtis-Smith) forbidden love in Descendants of the sun (The Philippine Adaptation).

In the March 2 episode of the Kapuso series, it was explained how they grow closer and fall deeper in love.

However, Moira's father, BGen Carlos Defensor AFP, is against their relationship because she is superior to Diego in terms of military rank. So, BGen Defensor asked Diego to break up with his daughter.

This is the only thing he asks in exchange for the years of kindness that he showed to Diego. The latter can't do anything but to follow his mentor's command as a sign of respect.

Moira may look tough outside but she's soft on the inside especially when it comes to the love of her life, Diego. She had a hard time accepting his decision that leave her heartbroken.
