Renowned actress Dina Bonnevie joyfully shared her birthday message for her daughter-in-law, actress Kristine Hermosa, the wife of her son Oyo Boy Sotto, on her recent birthday.

Kristine celebrated her 43rd birthday on Wednesday, September 9, prompting Dina to post a family photo on Instagram featuring her children Oyo Boy and Danica Pingris, along with their respective spouses Kristine and Marc Pingris, and her grandchildren.

Accompanying the picture was the acclaimed actress's moving message to Kristine. Dina expressed her deep gratitude for the blessing of having Kristine as a true daughter rather than just a daughter-in-law.

“Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter-in-law, whom I am blessed to call my daughter,” Dina wrote.

She continued, “When you first came into our family, you were my son's wife. But as the years passed, you became so much more than that. You became someone I learned to love, appreciate, and treasure in my own heart.”

Dina highlighted her appreciation and praise for Kristine, noting her “strength” and “kindness” in loving her family with Oyo Boy, while emphasizing that her selfless sacrifices never go unseen.

“I want you to know how grateful I am for the love you give to my son, for the family you are building together, and for the beautiful person you are. I see your strength, your sacrifices, your kindness, and all the little things you do that sometimes go unnoticed. Please know that they do not go unnoticed by me,” Dina stated.

The actress also offered a prayer for her daughter-in-law, wishing that Kristine would always feel their unconditional love.

“Life will not always be perfect, and there will be seasons that will test us, but I pray that you will always remember that you have a family who loves you and will always be here for you,” she shared.

“You are not just my daughter-in-law—you are my daughter, and that place in my heart is yours forever,” she added.

In her continued prayers, Dina asked God to guide Kristine and grant her fortitude, peace, and joy. She also wished for abundant blessings upon Kristine and Oyo Boy's family.

“On your birthday, my prayer is that God surrounds you with His love and favor, gives you strength when you need it, peace when life becomes difficult, and joy that comes from knowing how deeply you are loved,” she prayed.

“May He bless the work of your hands, protect your family, and give you many more beautiful years filled with laughter, meaningful memories, and answered prayers,” Dina added.

She followed up with a sweet note reminding Kristine of her place in their hearts: “I hope you never doubt how special you are to us. You are a beautiful blessing to our family, and I thank God for bringing you into our lives.”

To conclude her gesture, Dina warmly greeted Kristine once more, declaring her love for the “beautiful woman” she proudly calls a daughter.

“Happy Birthday, my dear. May you always be happy, loved, and fulfilled. And may you continue to grow into the beautiful woman God created you to be,” she expressed.

Dina continued, writing, “I love you, and I am so grateful to call you my daughter. Have the most beautiful birthday!”

Today, Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Boy Sotto have built a large family of their own with six children named Kiel, Ondrea, Kaleb, Vin, Isaac, and Isaiah.

Completing their family is Danica Sotto and her husband, former PBA star Marc Pingris, along with their children, Jean Michael and Anielle Michaela.
