How does Dina describe her character in the new Telebabad series?

Dina Bonnevie is set to play the domineering Alejandra Valdez-Castillo in the upcoming GMA Telebabad series, Beautiful Strangers.
Alejandra is an aspiring politician and the wife of the philandering Ronaldo (Christopher de Leon). She is a difficult character to give sympathy to, but Dina has an understanding of her character's motivations.
"Alejandra is such a doormat. She covers up being a doormat by being tough but on the inside, she's soft. She cannot actually fight for her own rights. If she could, she would tell her husband off," Ms. D tells GMANetwork.com in an exclusive interview.
"What she would do is to tell the women off and to get rid of the women instead of telling her husband off and giving him an ultimatum," she adds.
However, she admits that she finds a similarity between herself and the character.
"Maybe the similarity would be the fact that she always wants to have a good name. My family name is Bonnevie. In French it means 'the good life.' I always believe in having a good reputation and a good name," she explains.
Because of Alejandra's obsession in keeping her reputation pristine, she turns to crime. Dina says the logical thing for Alejandra to do is to come clean.
"If that happened to my husband, I would go to the authorities, tell them the truth and let my husband pay for his mistakes. But I wouldn't leave him. Maybe this will make him stop philandering. 'Yan matuto ka. This time, you learned your lesson. But I'll stand by him," she says.
She thinks Alejandra's life would have been different if she had learned to let her husband Ronaldo pay his dues.
"What happened to Alejandra's life, he didn't change. He continued to fool around because there's always someone to clean up his mess anyway," she adds.
