Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera spent Easter Sunday in a quiet, meaningful family tradition centered on reflection, faith, and togetherness. The couple, along with their children, continued what has slowly become a yearly practice of writing down their dreams, wishes, prayers, and reflections in a calm and private setting.
On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes shared heartwarming photos of his family with his wife Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera and their children Zia and Sixto, taken during a peaceful day at the park. He also reflected on how meaningful these simple family moments have become, noting that he has been closely observing how his children's perspectives are gradually evolving as they grow.
Dingdong shared in a post, “It's slowly becoming an Easter tradition for us to sit down and write our dreams, wishes, prayers, and reflections. For ourselves, for each other, and even for the world around us,” adding that the moment allowed them “to slow down and just be present.”
He went on to reflect on how their children's thoughts are beginning to take shape in more thoughtful and surprising ways, from wishing for world peace to expressing simple hopes tied to health and gratitude. One of the most touching moments, he wrote, was hearing them say, “Thank you for the sacrifice, Dad and Mom,” a remark that deeply moved him as a parent. Dingdong also expressed gratitude for Marian's role in helping nurture their children's awareness and understanding, and ended his message by reflecting on faith and renewal during Easter, writing about leaving behind burdens and “rising with Him” with renewed hope and prayers.
He also shared what his children, Zia and Sixto, wished for this year's Easter Sunday. According to Dingdong Dantes, “One wished for the war to stop, reminding me how children see the world without filters, just with hope,” highlighting how pure and sincere their perspectives can be at such a young age.
“The other talked about broccoli,” he added, sharing a lighter moment at home. He explained that his child now appreciates it after he once mentioned eating a lot of it to stay healthy enough to become their father, a small but meaningful detail that made the moment even more endearing.
But most of all, Dingdong Dantes said what stayed with him was hearing his children express gratitude to him and Marian Rivera. “As parents, that hits differently,” he shared, noting how most days are spent working and doing what needs to be done while hoping their children understand. He added that he is grateful to his wife for helping the kids recognize their efforts and for reminding them of the purpose behind their sacrifices.
He also reflected on their family milestones, sharing that in 2025, the Dantes family spent their Easter Sunday in Japan. Dingdong and Marian, who got married in 2014, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in December 2025 with a renewal of vows. Their eldest daughter Zia was born in 2015, while their son Sixto was born in 2019.
