Dingdong Dantes recognizes the “unsung heroes” of showbiz industry, the stuntmen, through Yes Pinoy Foundation's #BeScene project.

Dingdong Dantes draws the attention and spotlight to the stunt actors who he dubs as the “unsung heroes” of the entertainment industry via YesPinoy Foundation's (YPF) Project #BeScene.

Dingdong Dantes

Dingdong, as the chairman of YPF, led the collaboration with the Stunt Association of the Philippines and the Seoul Action School-Korea in providing a five-day training and seminar to local stuntmen and stuntwomen.

“Ang layunin nito is to honor the unsung heroes ng ating industry.

“Kayo ang gusto namin i-recognize and we want you to be seen that's why we are recognizing you dahil nakikita namin na may magandang future sa industriyang ito lalong lalo na sa sektor ng ating stuntmen,” said Dingdong on his speech during the graduation ceremony held earlier, July 21.

We want you to Be Seen.“

With the safety, welfare, advancement and inclusivity of stunt people in mind, the Kapuso actor sought the help of different institutional partners, which include GMA Network and the Film Development Authority of the Philippines, to successfully mount the pioneering training program of Project #BeScene.

The program culminated in a graduation ceremony, which was also attended by Quezon City 5th District Representative Alfred Vargas, Mark Lapid representing Senator Lito Lapid, Brian Poe Llamanzares representing Senator Grace Poe Llamanzares, David Fabros from the Film Development Council of the Philippines as well as the coaches and trainers from Seoul Action School-Korea.

“Sa dulo, gusto natin ng good quality of life. At para magkaroon ng good quality of life, gusto natin ng good quality of work.”

It was a successful event for YesPinoy Foundation (YPF) and Seoul Action School -- Korea! Congratulations to all the stuntmen graduates of Project #BeScene, and of course to Kapuso Primetime King and YPF Chairman Dingdong Dantes! ✨
