Dingdong Dantes showed how being the best husband to a queen wife should be.
While Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera took everyone by storm with her stunning beauty and her gorgeous looks at the 70th Miss Universe, her husband, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes also got the attention of Filipino fans. The actor melted the hearts of many because of his show of incomparable support to his wife.
Throughout Marian's stint as an official member of the selection committee to the pageant, netizens simply could not help but give Dingdong an equal share of the spotlight for being Marian's all-around everything.
The online world saluted Dingdong for doing a good job with some of the photo and video coverage for his judge wife. Armed with professional camera equipment, Dingdong, who also does television directing, nailed the most beautiful shots of Marian.
Dingdong also did some live footage and behind-the-scenes of most of Marian's participation in various Miss Universe activities.
In one video, Dingdong was shown with his back turned to the camera as he was capturing photos and videos of Marian and her different looks for the pre-pageant activities. Clad only in a plain white shirt, Dingdong stayed behind the scenes while fans from all over the world glorified Marian's beauty.
At one point, the Kapuso premier leading man even joked around at having no problem being Marian's water boy as she does her official duties as part of the selection committee.
Aside from her beauty, Marian also drew praises for being a natural charmer at the pageant. Her friendship with Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela made rounds on social media. The Indian beauty was even quoted to have said in a viral video that “She glows! She glows like the sun! I'm obsessed with her!”
The dancer-actress even taught her “newfound friend” the steps to her hit dance single “Sabay Sabay Tayo.”
Meanwhile, India's Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021. Philippines' Beatrice Luigi Gomez only made it to the Top 5. Congratulatory messages however poured out for Gomez on social media.
