Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes to Marian Rivera: “Good luck on the opening day of Balota, my love, at sa buong team Balota.”
Dingdong Dantes is celebrating his 44th birthday today (August 2) and one of the things he did on his special day was honoring the artistry of his wife, Marian Rivera.
In an Instagram post, the Kapuso Primetime King uploaded his spouse's deglamorized look for the 2024 Cinemalaya entry Balota, where the latter will portray the role of Emmy, and wished her and the entire team of the film the best of luck.
“Today, Agosto Dos, I celebrate my wife for her courageous commitment to taking another leap into the world of artistry. Good luck on the opening day of Balota, my love, at sa buong team Balota,” he wrote.
The actor and host also acknowledged the continuous effort of the Cinemalaya community to produce inspirational and educational films for Filipinos.
He added, “To the entire Cinemalaya community, may you continue to inspire, educate, and uplift our Filipino audience with your richly powerful stories. Mabuhay ang Pelikulang Pilipino!”
In the comments section, Marian replied to her husband's post, “Salamat, Mahal ko!”
