Mother Lily Monteverde, the late Regal Matriarch, will be interred on Saturday at The Heritage Park in Taguig City.

Showbiz power couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera were among the A-listers and entertainment icons who visited the wake of the Philippine movie pillar Lily Monteverde.

The local showbiz industry was shocked when the news broke out last August 4 that the Regal Matriarch passed away at the age of 84.

In a report by Chika Minute last Friday (August 9), DongYan was visibly emotional in the wake of Mother Lily.

Dingdong Dantes said in an interview that he is “grateful” to Mother Lily.

“We are forever grateful sa kaniya. Sa buong pamilya at sa buong Regal films.”

Meanwhile, Balota star Marian Rivera stated that the memories left behind by Mother Lily will be etched in our hearts.

She told 24 Oras, “Nawala man siya ngayon sa paningin natin, pero sa puso namin mananatili siya.”

Another multi-awarded actress, former Batangas governor Vilma Santos-Recto also recalled some of her fondest memories with the veteran producer in her chat with GMA Integrated News.

Vilma shared, “Isa lang pinagdarasal ko, basta ayoko lang nahirapan si Mother. Maraming bagay ang naibigay sa akin si Mother as a mother, not only as a producer. But as a mother, the advices, the support [and] the love."

The family of Lily Monteverde has already announced that her interment will be happening on Saturday, August 10, at The Heritage Park in Taguig City.
