Has Dion Ignacio ever considered transferring to another network? He reveals this at his contract renewal with GMA Network.
Dion Ignacio renewed his contract today, November 12, emphasizing his loyalty as a Kapuso.
Present at Dion's contract renewal were GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable and GMA Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi S. Lara. Also joining them were GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun S. Ferrer and Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora.
In an interview with Cata Tibayan, the actor expressed his joy and gratitude for remaining with his home network.
He said, “Siyempre ako, sobrang saya ko dahil maituturing kong blessing ito eh, dahil syempre panibagong work na naman.
"And thankful din ako sa GMA dahil hindi ako pinapabayaan. Lagi akong may shows.”
He further shared how transferring networks never crossed his mind.
“Sobrang loyal ko dito. Minsan nga tinatanong ako ng ibang fans, 'Gusto mo bang lumipat?' Sabi ko, 'dito na ako eh.'
"Dito na ako, kumbaga kung bata dito na ako lumaki sa GMA. 'tsaka 'yung mga tao dito sobrang family na turing ko sa kanila. So sabi ko hindi ko naiisip 'yan, dito ako sa GMA. Loyal ako dito,” he reiterated.
