Direk Mark Reyes is extremely thankful for the warm reception and success that his show, My Korean Jagiya, has been receiving. Over on Instagram, Direk Mark posted the high ratings of the romantic-comedy series.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the esteemed director shared his reaction to the show's success.
According to him, "Like a good batch of Kim-chi, a good show takes its time to ferment. I guess, the audience has now fallen in love with the relationship of Jun Ho and Gia and now considers Tita Josie, Tita Aida and the rest of My Korean Jagiya characters as the quirky happy family they like being with every weeknight before going to bed."
He also told us some exciting tidbits about scenes that we all should watch out for.
"We’re planning to bring the Kims and Asuncions to road trips out of their comfort zones. So expect more zany, wacky and romantic nights ahead for My Korean Jagiya," said he.
Lastly, Direk Mark left a message to all the avid viewers of My Korean Jagiya, "To the Jagiyas, Kahamsamnida for the support! Please keep on watching. And we promise to give you more quirky Hallyu 'kilig' and laughs."
